Synthesis:

Prof. Rémy Courdier received The Ph.D. degree in computer science from Nice Sophia-Antipolis University (France), he defended an accreditation to supervise researches projects and teams "Habilitation a Diriger des Recherches (HDR)" in 2003. He is university professor since 2008 and has been head of the Computer Science and Mathematics Research Laboratory of the University of Reunion Island. He has a strong Background in software engineering by working in R&D Teams of international IT Companies such as Digital Equipement Corporation and Schneider Electric. His research and extensive extracurricular activities combine interests in artificial intelligence and adaptive collective systems for socio-technical systems modeling and decision support.

Interests:

adaptive collective systems, multi-agent systems, agent based modelling, multi-agent simulation, cognitive computing, spatial planning, sustainable development, urban system simulation
